The conventional rate of rise heat detector uses thermal component to detect the temperature changing in the environment. It can enable fire alarm when the temperature difference achieved the setting rate of rise temperature value. It can also enable fire alarm when the absolute temperature value reaches the setting fixed value. It has a stable and reliable working performance. Housed in a pure white polycarbonate molding. Fitted with two alarm LEDs to allow 360º visibility.The most popular is the optical detector mode which is suitable for most commercial building application, giving the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles. Requires a 45681-244APO AlarmSense base. Can also be purchased as part of a detector/sounder or detector/sounder visual indicator base combination
