Human Ear Model

The ear is a complex part of an even more complex sensory system. It is situated bilaterally on the skull at the same level as the nose. The main functions of the ear are, of course, hearing, as well as constantly maintaining balance.

The human ear model has the following specifications:

• ENLARGED ANATOMICAL RIGHT EAR MODEL: The Stationary Ear Anatomy Model is a detailed (11” x 8” x 8.25” inch / 60cm x 40.3cm x 5cm overall) that shows features of the human right ear; 22 sections are labeled for external, middle, and internal ear landmarks and includes chart with corresponding numbers to the human anatomy model for kids and adults so you can quiz yourself or test others

• PEEK INSIDE: Examine from all sides of this 3D anatomy model as external and internal landmarks are shown on all sides; 3 parts total – 2 removable sections (middle ear eardrum piece with auditory ossicles malleus/incus/stapes and entire internal ear piece with labyrinth of cochlea, semicircular canals, vestibular nerve) for close-up examination; Removable pieces held in place by molded cavities for easy removal and replacement
• EXAMINE CLOSELY: Model comes preassembled on base (we do not recommend unscrewing the stand screws as it can weaken the integrity of the model); Base allows for both tabletop and in-hand examination and easy storage when not in use; Model is enlarged 3 times the size of a human ear to show details that allow you to learn about major structure groups of the human ear as well as intricate details of each individual structure and how it interacts with the rest of the structure groups
