Thank you for purchasing the Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler. This product uses CAT cable to extend the Rally Mic Pod and Rally Mic Pod Hub cables for greater flexibility during installations.

Planning the installation

• Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler support CAT cable lengths up to a maximum of 20m (65.6 ft)
• Supported cable types: CAT6 SFTP/SSTP
• Will work with or without the use of Mic Pod Hubs

NOTE: While a CAT cable is used to extend the length of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs, they do not convert these parts into ethernet devices.

IMPORTANT: In no case should the mic pods or cat cable used with this product be connected directly to a network port, computer, network switch or the RJ45 port on the Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or Rally Plus. Doing so may damage the connected device and is not covered under warranty.

Setup

1. Attach the included cable to one of the connectors and fold the lock into place.

    

   

   

   

2. Attach this cable to the mic pod port on Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini or the Table Hub on Rally Plus.
3. Attach the appropriate length CAT cable to both connectors.
4. Attach the connector to the Mic Pod or Mic Pod Hub plug and fold the lock in place.

Supported Configurations

IMPORTANT: If you intend to use the Mic Pod Cat Coupler and you cannot also use a Mic Pod extension cable in the same configuration. They are not supported together.

Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini

Rally Bar with Rally Mic Pod Cat Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and four Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod Cat Couple must be connected to Rally Bar.

Rally Bar Mini with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to two Rally Mic Pod Hubs and three Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in any order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to Rally Bar Mini.

Rally and Rally Plus

With the basic configuration, Rally and Rally Plus with Rally Mic Pod CAT Coupler supports connecting up to a total of seven Rally Mic Pod Hubs and/or Rally Mic Pods. The combination of Rally Mic Pods and Rally Mic Pod Hubs can be in order, but the Mic Pod CAT Coupler must be connected to the Rally Plus Table Hub.

Rally and Rally Plus also Support a CAT cable of up to 3m (9.8 ft) between each of the Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs. Again, in this configuration a combination of up to seven Rally Mic Pods and/or Rally Mic Pod Hubs is supported.
