The Smoke Alarm Detector With Escape LED Light, In Clam Shell is a device that senses smoke, typically as an indicator of fire. Smoke detectors/Alarms are usually housed in plastic enclosures. Smoke detector features an audible alarm & bright light when triggered, providing a dual alerting mechanism as well as lighting. Optical smoke detectors “see” the smoke through infrared light sensors. Smoke particles entering the sensor, light gets scattered. This is what triggers the alarm.
