Description

The Xiaomi Redmi A1 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display. It is powered by a Quad-core, Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor and a 5,000mAh battery unit. On the optics, Redmi A1 has a 5MP selfie camera at the front and a dual 13MP camera 0.3MP lens at the rear. Other features include dual-SIM 4G support, single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Xiaomi Redmi A1 measures 164.9 x 76.5 x 9.1 mm and weighs 192g. The device’s body is made of plastic at the back, with a plastic body frame and glass front. The 6.52-inch display of the Redmi handset is made of IPS LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution (~ 269 ppi density). This is enough for using your new device for both work and play.

Performance and Battery

The handset features Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53CPU, with a Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset and PowerVR GE8320 GPU running on the Android 12 Operating System. The processor is basically powerful enough for multi-tasking and playing basic games on the device. The 2GB RAM 32 GB internal memory space is sufficient to run basic applications and some preferred downloaded applications. You can expand the space using the MicroSD option. A 5,000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery powers the device. It has no fast charger to speed up powering the battery.

Camera

Make use of the 5MP to capture selfies and video chats. It does not have the best pixelation for best shots and videos, hence the chance you can get disappointed. At the back, make good shots with a dual camera set-up consisting of 13MP 0.5MP.
